How do I measure my tumbler?
  1. Wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper you then measure flat, around the cup where the top of your print will sit. That's the top measurement.
  2. Do the same where the bottom of your print will sit. On a straight cup it's the same number.
  3. Measure the height along the side of the cup, following the slope, not straight up.
  4. Print one blank template on plain paper and wrap it around the cup before using sublimation paper.
Why is a tapered template curved?

A tapered cup is part of a cone, so only a curved wrap lies flat on it.

What size should I make my design?

Make a flat rectangle the width of the top and the height of the side. The tool bends it to fit.

Should I mirror the design?

Sublimation transfers usually don't need mirroring because the printed side faces the cup. Some printers and other transfer methods do, so follow your paper's instructions.
